My Name is Andreas Pöschek and I live in Vienna, the capital of the European Country Austria. I am an technical engineer in computer science and economics. In my free time I am an enthusiastic photographer.

Education

I study information and computer science (Informatik) at the Technical University of Vienna (TU-Wien). In June 2000 I graduated in an high technical collegue (Höhere Technische Lehranstalt) Schulzentrum Ungargasse in computer science, mechanical engineering and economics.

Competitions

I win at a national professional contest in CAD (Computer Aided Design) of the Austrian Chamber of economics in May 1999.
In August 2000 I took part at the  international worldwide occupation-contest Abilympics in Prague. I participated in CAD Engineering Drawing and in Outdoor Photography. In Outdoor Photography participated 18 competitors.
I achieved the 1^st Place and win gold with my photographs. In my second field CAD Engineering Drawing I become 5^th of 9 participants.

Profession

My profession is software design and engineering, database modelling and design. I am working for several national and international companies by designing internet applications and databases for them.

Free Time

In my free time I am an enthusiastic photographer. My camera is anytime with me. In the last years I have some exhibitions of my photographs in Vienna.

When weather is fine I like to go on trips with my bike and to sail on lakes in Austria. In my holidays I travel a lot to make photoreportages about landscapes and foreign cultures on the whole world.
